AFI Special Award: The Banshees of Inisherin (Searchlight Pictures)

In the past, AFI’s picks tend to line up with the nominees for Best Picture with 6-8 films overlapping in the final line up at the Oscars. 88 of 116 films over the last 13 years have received a Best Picture nomination.
