‘Priscilla’ – New Project from Sofia Coppola

Priscilla Presley’s 1985 bestselling memoir “Elvis and Me” is set to get the big screen treatment from Academy Award Winner Sofia Coppola. Coppola wrote and will direct the feature film, titled “Priscilla,” with Cailee Spaeny attached to star as Priscilla and Jacob Elordi as Elvis. The film will shoot in Toronto this fall.

Spaeny was most recently in Mare of Easttown and previously starred in Bad Times at the El Royale. Elordi currently stars on Euphoria and was a lead in the Netflix franchise The Kissing Booth. Spaeny and Elordi follow up the recent Baz Luhrmann film Elvis, which starred Austin Butler and Olivia DeJonge.

A24 will distribute the film in North America. Priscilla marks the third collaboration between Coppola and A24, following On the Rocks and The Bling Ring. For the film, Coppola will be joined by her longtime collaborators, including cinematographer Philippe Le Sourd, costume designer Stacey Battat, editor Sarah Flack and production designer Tamara Deverell.
