The Wonder is beautifully shot and has a fine performance from Florence Pugh and an even better one from relative newcomer Kíla Lord Cassidy, but I'm not sure why Sebastian Lelio decided to make this predictable period piece. #Telluride My review:https://t.co/oWJu27g0dG

Will have to digest the micro changes Leilo & Donaghue did in adapting The Wonder to film, but it remains faithful to its themes while brilliantly threading the needle on its heavier moments. Florence Pugh is excellent as always in a well calibrated perf. #TellurideFilmFestival
